The Holy Quran is the Last and Final Word of God Almighty and a message to all mankind. It is a collection of 114 chapters or surahs that were revealed to Prophet Muhammad by revelation through the Archangel Gabriel over a period of 23 years.
Holy Quran; Surah 4; Verse 163:
163. إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا
We have sent thee inspiration as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him; We sent inspiration to Abraham Ismail Isaac Jacob and the Tribes to Jesus Job Jonah Aaron and Solomon and to David We gave the Psalms.
Holy Quran; Surah 42; Verses 51-52:
51. وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ اللَّـهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِيَ بِإِذْنِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
It is not fitting for a man that God should speak to him except by inspiration of from behind a veil or by the sending of a Messenger to reveal with God’s permission what God wills: for He is Most High Most Wise.
52. وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا ۚ مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلَا الْإِيمَانُ وَلَـٰكِن جَعَلْنَاهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِي بِهِ مَن نَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
And thus have We by Our command sent inspiration to thee: thou knowest not (before) what was Revelation and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur’an) a Light wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way.
The Holy Quran further reveals:
Holy Quran; Surah 56; Verses 77-80:
77. إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ
That this is indeed a Qur’an most honorable
78. فِي كِتَابٍ مَّكْنُونٍ
In a Book well-guarded
79. لَّا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ
Which none shall touch but those who are clean:
80. تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.
It is the duty of every Muslim and non-Muslim; man, woman, and child, to read The Holy Quran and try to understand it in their own capacity.
